Our Mission

“Love God.  Love People.  Make disciples who make disciples.”    We want to be a community that creates an environment where it’s ok to not be ok, but not stay that way.  In our disciple making, we want to help people discover and develop a passion for Jesus Christ.

Our Beliefs

We believe:

The Bible is the inspired, inerrant and authoritative Word of God for the Christian faith and Christian living.  (The Bible)

That there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (God the Father)

In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, and His miracles. We believe He was fully God, but became fully man to save a lost world. We believe he was crucified, resurrected from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will one day return again.  (God the Son)

In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who permanently indwells every believer upon his or her faith in Jesus Christ and equips every Christian to live a godly life.  (God the Holy Spirit)

That all people are lost sinners and incapable of a right relationship with God by their own efforts.  We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, salvation occurs when people place their faith in the death and resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin. (Salvation)

In the resurrection of both those who believe in Jesus and those who do not believe: those believing to eternal life with Christ and those unbelieving to eternal punishment in hell.

The church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and making Him known to a lost world.

Our Values

  1. Intimacy with God:  Christianity is about a relationship, not religion. God wants from you what nobody else can give Him: your devotion. Psalm 95:6; Isaiah 55:6

  2. Authentic Relationships:  At some point, church became known as a place where people must “fake” their way through life. However, we value creating an environment where you can be real about where you are in life. At Living Water, we want more than casual relationships, we want true friends that develop from being real with each other. 1 Thess. 2:8; Ephesians 4:25

  3. Life Transformation:  Living Water is a place for people on every part of the spiritual journey, a place where you can belong even before you believe. It’s a safe place for everyone. But safe doesn’t always mean comfortable. The bible presents a dangerous message of life change. Romans 12:2; Ephesians 4:24

  4. Community Impact:  We understand that God’s calling on our church is to go way beyond serving inside the walls of our church. We are constantly looking for opportunities to honor God by serving others. We want to be known in our community as a church who loves best! Matthew 5:14; Acts 1:8

  5. Relevant:  We will be attentive to the constantly shifting culture around us. Our methods may change, but God’s truth (Bible) remains the same. His word gives direction for daily living. Psalm 119: 89, 105, 160; 2 Timothy 3:16-17

  6. Grace-Filled:  Life is messy. We choose to love everybody when they least expect it and least deserve it because that is what Jesus did for us. John 1:14-17; Ephesians 2:8-9; Acts 20:24, 32
